The project
In a context of a political will to fight global warming, REDDiness contributes, to its scale, to the establishment of a monitoring system of deforestation and forest degradation by remote sensing.
The project focuses on the improvement of existing capacities in the national centers of forest monitoring in Gabon and the Republic of Congo, in terms of evaluation, forest mapping and carbon emission estimation.
